SPRING 2016
USC, Jason Kerwin

To learn how to control and create surfaces, this project analyzes how people can occupy and inhabit space while considering the intensity by proximity, duration, and dimensions.

The nomadic and surface based membrane design incorporates body, space, and action into a continuously modulated system. The regulated set of variously scaled pedals enables the exploration of embedding and rotating methods to create a guided path about the campground that uses the material construct of the tent's form to diversify the density, programming, and functional properties.
